I never ceased to be amazed. I feel like we have lost our minds as a country. What am I talking about? Did you hear how Congress was opened up on November 13th? I just learned about this today… That’s a Muslim, Imam Hamad Ahmad Chebli, of the Islamic Society of Central Jersey (ISCJ) in Monmouth Junction. He gave the opening prayer in the House of Representatives. The opening prayer asked for the “blessings” of Allah “the most merciful” to fall upon America. If you want to see the prayer, go here: http://endtimeheadlines.org/breaking-news/shock-john-boehner-opens-house-session-islamic-prayer-allah/ You will hear him say later in the prayer, “God.” But, that is code for Allah. Muslims also call Allah, “God.” Don’t be deceived. Today, this country has become totally about being politically correct and all-inclusive. All I can say is: “Unreal!” A nation founded on the principles of the Bible, now has a Muslim prayer offered from the halls of House of Representative. Our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves. Absolutely amazing! I was shocked and amazed that John Boehner not only joined in on inviting the Imam, but introduced him. What are we doing? What are we thinking? I’m telling you, we are going the way of Europe. Europe is principally Muslim now and we’re about 40-50 years behind the “Mother country.” My children and grandchildren will watch this unfold in America unless Jesus returns first. Can you fathom how quickly things are changing? Homosexuality will soon be ordered as “okay” by the Supreme Court this summer (my prediction from the last blog). Marijuana is legal in Washington and Colorado. That will continue. And now we welcome a Muslim Imam to offer a prayer to Allah (a god who does not even exist) in the hallowed halls of Congress? What are we thinking! Please understand, I’m all for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone…certainly Muslims need Christ. But, offering for Muslims to come and declare allegiance to Allah is totally over the top. Boehner ought to know better. I think he’s been lying in the sun too much. 🙂 Want to know where in the country that is fading the quickest? Barna Research can show us this…
The red shows where the Bible is least respected and read. The Blue shows the most Bible minded cities. The Northeast is a sad place. Aren’t they getting hammered with a snowstorm tonight? Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking for coincidences. Just pointing out the obvious. I was surprised that Waterloo, Iowa was such an un-Bible-minded (is that a word) place? Let me give you something else to think about…
See this guy?
He’s basically an atheist. That’s Bill Walton. He’s a former NCAA and NBA Champion, now TV analyst for ESPN. But, I love the fact that a fellow TV commentator, Dave Pasch, also with ESPN kindly rebutted him. Watch… It’s only 1-minute long.

Well done Dave Pasch! Handled respectfully and with grace…yet firmly. Pasch is a devout Christian who is generally more than open about his faith. In fact, he includes a reference to John 1:14 in his Twitter biography, a verse which reads, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” — a reference to Jesus Christ. In a past interview with the blog “Jesus N Sports,” Pasch discussed his Christian faith and his sports career, mentioning John 1:14 as one of his favorite Bible verses. Among the subjects discussed in the interview was the honesty and openness with which Pasch said he discusses his faith. “I am pretty honest and forthright about my faith when it comes up in a conversation. I am a follower of Christ,” he said, describing how he would react to a colleague who asked about his beliefs. “I would tell them how I came up with that conclusion, continue to help someone understand.” Did you hear Pasch offer to Walton the concept of “irreducible complexity?” It is a theory espoused by some creationists that argues that “some biological systems are so complex and so dependent upon multiple complex parts, that they could not have evolved by chance,” according to GotQuestions.org. (one of my favorite websites). I’ll show you some “irreducible power” by my son, Andrew… How about some “irreducible cute?”
That’s me in that little carrier along with my mom and dad. See that ’67 Mustang in the picture. This was circa 1968. Now let’s end up with “irreducible brains” from the Northeast… From the snow-blown city of Boston. Let’s see what a Harvard Professor has to say about democracy. This will take us all the way back to the beginning of our discussion and the Imam at the House of Representatives. This is a 90-second video by Harvard professor Clay Christensen from the viewpoint of a Chinese economics exchange student. This is why religious freedom is the main reason Democracy works. It’s 1-minute, 40 seconds long.
As Christianity fades in this nation, we won’t be able to hire enough police to protect us. If you think it’s nothing to have a Muslim Imam offering prayers to Allah in our hallowed halls, think again! Have we lost our minds? Only the Word of the ONLY, true and living God will renew our minds… Romans 12:1-2 1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
